Celebrations

Two Congregations celebrated last weekend, as their incoming ministers were inducted. The Rev. Apelu Tielu has commenced ministry with the Queanbeyan Congregation, whilst the Rev. Dr Geoff Dornan joins in ministry with the Rev. Dr Sarah Agnew and Jules Wright in the Wesley Forrest Congregation. We look forward to the contributions that Apelu and Geoff will bring in the coming years.

This Sunday, another two Congregations are celebrating. Gungahlin is holding a service that will look back on 25 years of ministry in the northern region of Canberra, whilst the newly-formed Woden Valley Congregation will be commissioned in a service commencing at 10am at the Pearce Community Centre. Woden Valley is being formed as St James Curtin and South Woden join together in worship and mission.

A further celebration will take place on 28 February, when the Rev. Andrew Jago will be inducted into his placement in the North Belconnen Congregation.

Across the Presbytery, let us join in offering thanksgiving and gratitude for each of these celebratory moments!
